Amina Husain, MD

Ophthalmologist, Amina Husain, MD has been providing consistent intravitreal injection care for our local Grand Forks community for over 3 years now. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Husain grew up in Ohio and completed her medical training in Ohio at a 6 year accelerated combined BS/MD program after graduating high school as salutatorian of a class of over 500 students. Dr. Husain then went to Texas to complete her residency in ophthalmology at UTMB and then on to North Carolina to complete two fellowships at Duke University Medical Center.

Practice Emphasis:

  • Intravitreal injections for macular degeneration
  • Diabetic macular edema
  • Proliferative diabetic retinopathy cystoid macular edema
  • Macular edema from retinal vein occlusions.
