The North Dakota Eye Clinic Ltd, the region’s premier eye care provider since 1954 is looking for a full-time ophthalmic assistant. We offer both ophthalmology and optometry services from medical and surgical to routine.
An ophthalmic assistant (OA) assists the doctor by performing many functions such as: patient interviews, technical workups and special testing.
The right candidate possesses a strong desire to enhance patient’s lives by reaching their maximum vision potential and making their day. You should be a self-starter with strong communication and team skills. A strong desire to provide a world-class patient experience is a must.
We will train the right person. You will start as an Ophthalmic Assistant (OA) with expectations of becoming a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) by one year. We will help you achieve this goal! Ultimately, the goal of becoming a Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) after a few years would be fantastic!
We offer amazing benefits and an energetic work environment. Starting pay is $14-$16/ hour, DOE. Expected salary after achieving COA is $17-19/ hour, DOE. COT salary expectations are over $20/hr!
